A Short Film : Residenital Learning Space, Clayhill Arts, Somerset

A Film About Clayhill Arts

R&A Collaborations came to visit us earlier this year to film the inaugural Stitching Together Network event. Whilst they were here they kindly took some additional footage and have put together this short film to explain what it is that we do.

Visiting Clayhill at various stages of its development, the film sees the buildings come to life through an extensive renovation programme and as we begin to host our first few events. There are specific highlights from the Stitching Together Network event. We also talk about other self-initiated artist retreats that have taken place here.

What We Offer

Converted from a series of old farm buildings, Clayhill Arts is a multipurpose training facility for artists and creative professionals. Offering accommodation, on-site catering, meeting and presentation spaces as well as workshop facilities, Clayhill is an ideal facility for groups wanting an alternative space for an away day or to host a product launch. There are multiple break out spaces, both inside and outside the building, which offer spectacular views of across Somerset and the Quantock Hills.

Where You Can Find Us

Ideally situated, Clayhill Arts is 4 miles from the historic market town of Bridgwater. We are easily accessible from to the motorway (15 minutes from M5, J23/J24), and have a train station in Bridwater (10 minutes) or Taunton (30 minutes).

What We Are Up To

We are currently programming our courses and workshops for Spring/Summer 2020. In around that time we are open to inquiries for private hire. If you are interested to learn more about our upcoming events, sign up to our newsletter to be the first to hear about them.

We loved working with R&A Collaborations on this and hope to have them back here to develop some more films and presentations. So watch this space and enjoy the film – let us know what you think!
