We have 8 en-suite bedrooms here at Clayhill Arts, which can sleep up to 16 people. Our accommodation is perfect for a rural retreat, nestled in the heart of the Somerset countryside.

Our 4 double rooms have been converted from a series of old cattle sheds and our 4 twin rooms have been converted from an old milking parlour. They retain characterful features such as exposed wooden roof timbers and stone walls, finished with illustrative wallpapers.

Each bedroom has its own tea and coffee making facilities, clothes hangers, hairdryer, trough inspired bathtubs with decorative shower curtains and an outdoor seating area.

All our accommodation is reserved for the students for the duration of the course and you will have a bedroom of your own. We would recommend staying here for the fully immersive Clayhill experience.

Accommodation is offered at £80/per night. If you would like to make your stay here more comfortable, you can also buy a single additional night’s stay before and/or after the course.

This will be available for purchase alongside the tickets for each of the individual courses.

(Please note any additional nights will not be catered, we are happy to recommend some local places to eat).

Outside of our residential course programme, we can let out the entire venue giving you exclusive access to all 8 bedrooms as well as the open plan kitchen, communal dining room and extensive grounds.

Due to the integrated nature of our buildings here at Clayhill Arts, it is not possible to let out our bedrooms on an individual basis.

If you have specific requirements for your room, please let us know at the time of booking and we will do our utmost to accommodate.

All of our residential courses at Clayhill Arts are fully catered, and our locally-sourced food is included in the price of your course ticket. If you do choose to stay with us a bespoke evening meal as well as breakfast and lunch will also be provided.

Our Facilities

We also have an onsite laundry should you need to use these facilities during your stay with us. WIFI is available throughout the complex, heating and hot water is supplied by biomass technology, electricity by solar technology and all of the water around the site is fed by a natural spring.

We host a fully accessible bedroom with an en-suite wet room. Additionally, all communal areas are wheelchair accessible. A mobility lift has been installed, as well as mobility apparatus in the toilets.

If you have another event in mind, where you feel the facilities at Clayhill would be ideal then please get in touch via our Venue Hire Page.
