Covid-19 and cancellation policy
Using the guidance from the Government and HSE we have put measures in place to ensure your safety whilst studying and staying with us here at Clayhill Arts.
Communal Facilities
We have updated our already high standard cleaning regime and will be regularly sanitising the surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment for all. Hand sanitizer will be available in the toilets as well as additional sanitizing stations, which we encourage you to use throughout your stay with us.
Should you decide to stay overnight with us, you will have access to your own toilet facilities throughout your stay and be provided with hand sanitizer in your room.
Ventilation
Good ventilation can help reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus, so we will be increasing ventilation throughout the building by opening doors and windows at regular intervals.
Masks and Testing
As per the latest government guidance, masks are optional. We want you to feel comfortable so please wear whatever facial covering makes you feel secure. All course tutors and support staff will be asked to take a lateral flow test before arriving onsite, and we would encourage course participants to do the same. We will also keep a stock of lateral flow tests and masks onsite if needed.
Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation needs to be made 4 weeks before the start of the course to guarantee a refund – this includes payments made through instalments.
Any cancellation for a future course will be reimbursed up to 4 weeks prior to the start of a course minus a £30 administration fee
Any cancellation after the 4 week deadline will not be reimbursed – this includes payments made through instalments
If cancellations are made for COVID 19 reasons, a credit note/slip can be issued for a future course within 2 years. We are not liable for additional costs incurred e.g. travel and accommodation.
If you experience symptoms or test positive during a course you will not be able to continue and it will be necessary to leave immediately in order to self-isolate in accordance with government guidelines. You will be requested to do a test by phoning 119 or visiting nhs.uk/coronavirus In some circumstances we may be able to make a credit note available for the time lost.
If possible, you are advised to take out insurance against loss of fees through illness or personal accident.
